Cancellation Policy

Infection Control

Our practice meets or exceeds all of the requirements of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in a dental environment. It is our goal to provide our patients with optimum dental care, which includes the highest standards in sterilization and asepsis.

As a part of this goal, we perform our procedures in a fashion that prevents cross-contamination

  • We use disposable materials
  • Sterilization of equipment before every use
  • Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
  • Gloves and facemasks

Nitrous Oxide

Dr. Prush offers nitrous oxide (relaxing gas) in each of his dental operatory rooms. Patients are welcome to use nitrous oxide relaxing gas for any procedures, including teeth cleanings! The patient is able to breathe on their own and maintain all functions.

The depth of sedation can be altered at any time and there is no "hangover" after effect. You should NOT use nitrous oxide gas if you have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Though there are no other major contraindications to using nitrous oxide relaxing gas, you may not want to use it if you have asthma, emphysema, a cold, M.S., or if you are pregnant.
